August 1965 in Saint Matthews, South Carolina) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin. 2015 gewann sie für ihre Leistung in der Krimiserie "How to Get Away with Murder" als erste afroamerikanische Schauspielerin den Emmy in der Kategorie Beste Hauptdarstellerin in einer Dramaserie.
