    PC 1.0 Update #22



    Update #22 update is currently on the Test Servers and we plan to bring it to Live Servers in early October, once the changes are proven to be stable.

    Strap on that level 3 helmet, cause the competition on the battlegrounds just got a little more fierce. Update 22 is bringing a long-awaited Ranking system to PUBG, allowing you to put everything you've learned to the test as you climb the ranks. More information on this new system is coming soon!

    We're also squashing another collection of FIX PUBG bugs, adding a convenient new wheel menu to health and throwable inventories, adding a way for you to upgrade your duplicate or unwanted skins, and by very popular demand, bringing back map selection.

    FIX PUBG Update

    QoL

    • WHEEL MENUS: Added UI that allows players to access a quick-select wheel (similar UI with the Emote system) for the quick selection of items without opening the inventory or pressing individual hotkeys.
    • MINIMAP: Players can now further magnify the minimap.
    • PLAYER ORDER CONSISTENCY: Player order between the lobby and in-game is now consistent so that players will have fixed numbers and colors based on lobby order when they enter a game.
    • FRIEND UI: Friend UI has been improved to show logged out / disconnected teammates.
    Bug Fixes

    • CHARACTER MOVEMENT #01: Fixed the issue where players could sometimes climb stairs much faster while moving diagonally next to the wall.
    • DBNO PLAYER WALL PENETRATION: Fixed the issue where sometimes a downed players' character model would penetrate walls.
    • UNDERWATER: Fixed the issue where players could hold weapons while moving close to rocks while underwater.
    • SLIDING FIX #01: Fixed the issue where characters would look like they were sliding while standing up if they took out a weapon and stood up at the same time.
    • SLIDING FIX #02: Fixed the issue where a player appeared to slide when standing up or moving while going prone before landing from a certain height.
    • STUN AND ONFIRE ANIMATION: Fixed the issue where Flashbang and Molotov stun and on fire animations could be cancelled when repeatedly crouching/standing up/prone/or equipping a weapon.
    • ARMED ANIMATION: Fixed the issue where characters occasionally appeared to be unarmed when they were actually armed.
    • PLAYER UI: Fixed an issue where the player UI would sometimes disappear in the observer's view.
    • ADS BUG #02: Fixed the issue where ADS worked unreliably when ADSing right after equipping a weapon.
    • VEHICLE INTERACTION: Fixed the issue where a player sometimes received collision damage from a motorcycle when another player picked up the motorcycle.
    • CHARACTER POSITION #03: Fixed an issue where a character sometimes rotated even though its feet were fixed when the screen was rotated more than 180 degrees left or right.
    • CHARACTER MOTION #01: Fixed the issue where a player was sometimes shown as scoping when taking steps next to a wall.
    • VAULTING: Fixed the issue where characters could vault over other characters when positioned at certain heights.
    • CHARACTER MOTION #02: Fixed the issue where a player would sometimes clip through the floor of a building when disembarking a motorcycle.
    • REPORT SPAMMING: Fixed the issue where a player could be reported multiple times by playing the replay over and over.
    • LOBBY HP BAR DISPLAY: Fixed the issue where a character's HP bar was sometimes shown in the lobby after exiting the server replay.
    • POPPING #01: Fixed the issue where a character's animation popped upward when getting close to the wheels of a buggy.
    • POPPING #02: Fixed the issue of where a character's animation popped upward when crouching and standing up near a vehicle.


    Rank System, Leaderboard, Region Renewal
    • Server/region will now be decided automatically depending on the player’s local region
      • If you group with a player from another region, matchmaking will automatically decide the best region to play on

    • Implemented Rank System
      • There are 8 total ranks
      • Rank will be assigned based on Rank Points earned
      • To earn your first rank, you will need to play 10 provisional matches
      • Rank promotion / demotion will be decided by total rank points as indicated in the chart above


    • Statistics Page Renewal
      • Improved the UI of the Career and Leaderboard screens
      • Career
        • Improved UI to show rank, KDA, Avg. damage, etc. more clearly.

    Map Selection



    • Map selection is back once again, allowing you to select which maps you want to play on
      • You can select Quick Join or select maps individually
      • Quick Join function puts you in the first available game, regardless of map


    Skin Trade Up System



    • We’ve added a Skin Trade Up system where you can trade in items for those of a higher tier
      • You can trade up multiple same-tier items and BP into one next-tier skin item
      • Trade up requires ten items, and the maximum tier you can get is up to rare(blue) while the system is in testing. We’ll look to open up the system further once we’re satisfied with the balance of the system but please note that any BP costs associated with this system may change.
      • The required BP amount is different depending on the tier of items being traded up. You will not be able to initiate the trade without all required items


    UI/UX





    • Added a wheel menu for quick access to healing and throwable items
      • These are the default keybindings to use each function
        • G / F1: Throwables
        • ~ / F2: Heal/booster items
        • F4: Emote
      • Emote activation hotkey was changed from ` to F4
      • You can cancel the wheel by clicking the right mouse button
    • Added an option to hide the nicknames of players in the killfeed who downed/killed you or your teammates


    • Added alert icons to the network statistics function
      • Three new icons represent High latency, Latency variation, Packet loss
        • High latency: Alerts you if your ping/latency is getting too high
        • Latency variation: Alerts you if your latency variation changes are too high
        • Packet loss: Alerts you if your ratio of packet loss is too high
      • Added an icon to check teammate’s log out / disconnected status
      • Player order between the lobby and in-game is now consistent so that players will have fixed numbers and colors based on lobby order when they enter a game.
      • Added an option to manage the maximum ratio of minimap zooming
      • Added auto-reload option
        • When enabled, you will reload weapons automatically when you try to fire while your magazine is empty
        • By default, this is set to “Off” but can be changed in the Gameplay menu






    Performance
    • Improved the client performance by optimizing the creation of character materials


    Custom Match
    • Improved the calculation of participants in the session waiting room
      • Players in OBSERVER or UNASSIGNED status will not be calculated in playable participants

    PUBG wird komplett neu programmiert

    Fortnite und Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds liefern sich um die Gunst der Community und Spielerzahlen ein heißes Gefecht um den Platz an der Spitze der Battle-Royale-Shooter. Fortnite setzt sich seit Wochen aber immer mehr an die Spitze. Auch kommende Battle Royal Spiele machen es Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds nicht unbedingt leichter und es erfordert Pläne zur Verbesserung des Spiels.

    Seit dem Release der Retail Version klagen Spieler nicht nur über Cheater, sondern auch über die schlechte Performance bei relativ schlechter grafischer Qualität. Wie nun Brendan Greene aka Playerunknown mitteilte, wird man nun drastische Schritte gehen und PUBG von Grund auf neu programmieren.

    Die neue Version soll dabei deutlich effektiver mit den Ressourcen umgehen und die gröbsten Fehler vermeiden, welche in der aktuellen Fassung des Spiels dazu führen, dass es weiterhin Performance-Probleme gibt. Laut Brendan Greene handelt es sich um eine von Grund auf neu aufgesetzte Version, die nun in Angriff genommen wird. Wann genau die Version veröffentlicht wird oder wie der ungefähre Zeitplan dafür aussieht, gibt Greene allerdings nichts an.

    PUBG Update #12 mit Map-Auswahl und Waffenbalance

    Das Update #12 wurde Gestern auf die Testserver gebracht. Dabei gibt es viele Waffenbalance Änderungen, die Map-Auswahl wurde hinzu gefügt und vieles mehr.

    Es wurde auch eine neue Waffe ins Spiel hinzu gefügt.

    PUBG - Introducing Map Selection

    We’re finally bringing map selection to PUBG. Today we want to tell you all about it, including the process we went through while developing the feature.

    Map selection is something that players all over the world have continuously asked for. We take your feedback extremely seriously, but we also want to be thoughtful about how we implement changes to PUBG. And we knew that map selection posed a couple of problems we needed to seriously consider.

    The first problem: Would adding map selection cause serious increases in matchmaking times for the various servers and modes?

    For us, this was the most troubling issue, and it required a lot of discussion and serious research. We analyzed tens of millions of matches and sorted the data by server, mode, and time to make sure map selection wouldn’t break the game for anyone. We wanted to make sure that we could create a solution that worked for every region’s players, even the ones with a naturally low server population.

    The second problem: Players in different regions have different preferences and playstyles, so how could we make map selection work for all of them?

    To solve this, we couldn’t just rely on one source of feedback (like Reddit). We gathered feedback from all around the world, and what we learned led us to scrap and rework our designs for map selection several times.

    Ultimately, we created a version of map selection that we think is unlikely to cause issues for matchmaking. That said, we’ll still have to keep a close eye on it, since it could become problematic as new maps continue to be added.

    Now, with all that context out of the way, please take a look at the first version of map select:

    The UI of this feature may be different when implemented in the actual game, but here’s the basic explanation of how it works:

    - You can select the maps you want to play with a click.
    - If you don’t want to play a map, simply unselect it.
    - If you’ve selected more than one map, the game will randomly pick one for you each time you start a match.

    Work on the feature is almost complete, and we plan to release it soon after implementing it on the test server.

    As with every feature in PUBG, we’ll continue to make improvements to the map selection feature over time. PUBG will never stop evolving as long as you continue giving us feedback, and we promise to always do our best to provide you with a satisfying and special game experience.

    PUBG Patch #11 geht auf die TestServer

    PC 1.0 Update #11





    Patch #11 will hit test servers soon. Please leave your feedback on the [test server][forums.playbattlegrounds.com] feedback board.
    If the patches made to the test servers are proven to be stable enough, they will be deployed to the live servers within the week. Live server update schedules will be announced later.


    UI / UX


    • A marker has been added to the map that allows players to check the flight path of the plane.
      • The path is visible from when players are at the waiting lobby up until the point when they fall down to their final drop destination.


    Bugs Fixes
    • There should no longer be excessive blood effects when you’re getting shot in FPP mode or while aiming down sights.
    • Fixed issue that sometimes caused blood effects to not show up when shooting other players.
    • Fixed an issue that was causing character silhouettes to remain visible while inside smoke
    • Switching weapons while prone should no longer cause certain animations to break


    Custom game real-time spectating


    • In the lobby's custom match list, you can select an ongoing game and watch it in real time.*
      • Games that have the Public Spectating option set to “On” can be watched in Custom Match.
      • For private matches, you can spectate the game by entering a given password.
    * The custom game real-time spectating function is still in an early development stage, and some functions may be unstable. We appreciate your patience while we work out the kinks.


    New crates





    • One new paid crate and one new frying pan skin has been added.
      • For the purpose of security verification, Equinox crate x10, Weapon Skin Key x20, Early Bird Key x20, 100K BP will be distributed to all accounts.( Test server only )
    • The frying pan skin, "Target Practice", can be purchased separately as an individual item for 5,000 BP. It can be purchased only once per account.
    • New paid crate, "Equinox Crate", will offer weapons skins. It can be earned with 25% chance as a Weekly Random Crate.
      • "Equinox Crate" can be opened with Weapon Skin Key, which can be purchased at the Steam store.
      • There is one bonus item. If you’re really lucky, you can get that skin as a bonus on top of the crate’s normal reward items
    • The chances of getting each item in the new paid crate are as follows.
    • The chances of getting each crate as a Weekly Random Crate are as follows.



    Crate system
    • Weekly random crate reset date is changed to every Thursday, 00:00 UTC

    PUBG Update #10 / Savage 2. Test

    Gestern Abend hat der Entwickler via Twitter bekannt gegeben, dass das 10. Update für PUBG auf die Testserver kommt.
    Dabei wird unter anderem die Kleidung aus den Maps entfernt die Wüstenkarte überarbeitet und ein paar Bugfixes vorgenommen.

    Patch 1.0 #8 kommt

    Moin,

    Bluehole hat überraschend auf Twitter verkündet heute den Patch 8 aufzuspielen.
    Mit neuen Innovativen Inhalten. Zusätzlich soll PUBG am ende des Jahres auf der Nintendo Switch erscheinen.

    Es ist soweit Patch 8 steht ins Haus und er krempelt vieles, vieles um.


    Änderungen im Überblick.

    Gameplay:
    - Der Fallschirm muss ab sofort mittels Taste gezogen werden. Dies sei laut Bluehole realistischer und die AFKler wären so schneller aus dem Match.
    (Wer zu spät zieht bekommt Fall-schaden)
    - beim Absprung hat jeder Spieler nun die Desert Eagle als Waffe zur Verfügung und kann sie auch in der Luft abfeuern. Diese hat ein 7-Schuss Magazin und verursacht 110% schaden bei ungepanzerten Spielern (Bodytreffer).
    Dies soll laut Brendan Greene dazu führen, dass es zu mehr Action am Start kommt.
    - Der Kampf gegen Cheater geht weiter zukünftig sollen sich die Spieler selbst drum kümmern. Mittels votekick/voteban sollen zukünftig Cheater vom Server geschmissen werden.



    Neue Ausrüstung bzw Änderungen.

    - Nebel/Regen-karte wieder da
    - neu Nachtkarten für Erangel & Miramar sind nun verfügbar
    - Desert Eagle (Pistole) 7 Schuss Kaliber .50
    - M16A4 8x Scope wieder montierbar
    - Nachtsichtgerät (nur Airdrop)
    - Groza (normal auf der Karte nicht mehr im Airdrop)
    - Kar98k minimierter Bulletdrop
    - Das 50x Scope wurde eingeführt dies lässt sich bis auf 15x zurückschrauben.
    - Mini 14 erhöhter Rückstoß um 15%
    - Sks Dauerfeuer modus
    - M416 reduktion des Rückstoßes um 5% erhöhter schaden um 10%
    - P1911 Colt wurde entfernt.
    - P92 startet gleich mit schalldämpfer.
    - VSS minimierter Bulletdrop.
    - neue Rüstungs Stufe 4 (Plattenrüstung nur Airdrop)
    - neu C4. Dies kann ab sofort in der freien Welt gefunden werden und an Türen als Sprengfalle
    platziert werden. Dies soll neue taktische möglich zur Sicherung von Häusern darstellen. und den Fokus mehr auf das vaulting system legen.

    Neues Fahrzeug
    - Das Hovercraft kommt in PuBG und wird somit das erste Amphibienfahrzeug.



    Neuer Modi: Gunship Empire (Erangel). Das Airdrop-Flugzeug wird zum Gunship (Ac130) umgebaut der Modi lautet eigentlich 8 gegen 92 Spieler. Von den 8 Spielern wird ein Spieler ausgesucht der im Gunship platzt nimmt.
    Die restlichen Sieben landen per Boot am Strand ihrer Wahl. (Sie können die Route mittels vote bestimmen). Die 92 anderen werden per Flugzeug abgeworfen (Sowie immer). Die Aufgabe des Gunship ist es jetzt das gewisse Ziele bombardiert werden müssen.
    Diese unterscheiden sich (min 4) beispiel. Cafe (Primorsk), Cafe (Mylta), Polizei Station (Yasnaya Polyana) & Hospital (Georgopol). Andere Ziele könnten zum Beispiel sein: Military Base, Prison, Shooting Range oder School.

    Aufgabe der Verteidiger diese müssen Stinger Stellungen halten (5 Leute müssen in der nähe stehen) um eine Rakete auf das Gunship zu schießen. Das Gunship hat Flairs zur Abwehr sollten diese aufgebraucht sein wird es abgeschossen.
    Die Angreifer am Boden müssen dieses verhindern in dem sie die Verteidiger an den Stellungen stören und auseinander treiben. Was knackige Gefechte verspricht.
    Das Gunship ist aber auch nicht unbewaffnet um seine Boden Einheiten zu Unterstützen. Es besitzt eine 105mm Haupthaubitze, 40mm-Bofors-Geschütz & eine 40mm Gatling und Infarot/Wärmesicht.



    Zusätzlich kann es 2 Airdrops schmeißen. Die den Angreifern helfen können. Der Schütze kann in den Cooldown Zeiten, diese nach Wunsch anpassen. Alle 5 Min kann er losfliegen.
    Dabei wird seine Flugroute, aber angezeigt und er muss 2 Runden über seine Ziele kreisen.

    Bug Fixes
    - ALLE Bugs wurden erfolgreich entfernt.
    - Server laufen stabil.

    Leak auf Twitter
    Es ist ein Bild aufgetaucht was die nächste Karte nach der 4x4 Karte seinen wird. Diese befindet sich noch in der Betaphase und kann
    sich noch etwas ändern.


    Weiter ist nichts bekannt wir werden es in den nächsten Stunden herausfinden.

    Brendan »Playerunknown« Greene hat in einem Blog-Eintrag die geplanten Neuerungen für PUBG 2018 bekannt gegeben.

    Darunter befinden sich neue Karten, Waffen und Fahrzeuge die aber leider nicht näher erwähnt werden.
    Des weiteren soll das Spiel allgemein verbessert werden.
