  • 1.4.4 Build #55523 (All Platforms) - July 10, 2024


    GAME UPDATE

    • The sale price of Boss summoning materials has been increased. Examples:
      • Blackened Femur, Gurgling Head, and Trembling Hand sell price increased from 20,000 Gold to 50,000.
      • Stygian Stone sale price increased from 70,000 Gold to 150,000.
    • Tempering manual drop rates have been improved to be more consistent.
    • Elixirs’ general drop rate has been reduced.
    • Tempered affixes on items now have an icon associated to the Tempering category, instead of the same icon for all Tempered affixes.


    BUG FIXES

    Accessibility

    • Fixed an issue where the Screen Reader didn't function properly when interacting with collapsible menus.

    Gameplay

    • Fixed an issue where boss summoning materials could be lost if transferred to a newly created character.
    • Fixed an issue where the Tortured Gift of Amulets in Helltide didn't grant as many items as intended.
    • Fixed an issue where a Helltide ambush from a Threat Level increase could spawn within the Iron Wolves encampment.
    • Fixed an issue where players could get stuck in place if the World Tier statue was interacted with while using a Town Portal.
    • Fixed an issue where the Bold Chieftain's Aspect did not grant cooldown reduction for Druid's Debilitating Roar or Blood Howl.
    • Fixed an issue where progression in Garan Hold could be blocked if Keeper Xor'lim was killed too quickly.
    • Fixed an issue where progression in Sunken Library could be blocked if the Head Librarian spawned behind a locked door.
    • Fixed an issue where the player could get stuck behind certain Tortured Gift chests.
    • Fixed an issue where the tempering affix to increase the duration of the Damage Reduction granted by Reap also increased the cooldown for how often Reap could form a corpse.
    • Fixed an issue where the Tempering affix for increasing Corpse Tendrils' Crowd Control Duration instead caused the skill to take longer to pull in enemies.
    • Fixed an issue where Bone Prisons created by Yen's Blessing would persist indefinitely.
    • Fixed an issue where Firebolts going near but not through Firewall would still split into 3 when using Flameweaver.
    • Fixed an issue where Venous Mote altars could sometimes not be interacted with to complete the Whisper.
    • Fixed an issue where changing mount armor could reset your Spur count.
    • Fixed an issue where some of the Drowned Sea Hag’s attacks were harder to see in dark environments.
    • Fixed an issue where the following Aspects were not dealing as much damage as intended:
      • Dust Devil's Aspect
      • Aspect of Surprise
      • Trickster's Aspect
      • Aspect of Artful Initiative
      • Vengeful Aspect
      • Aspect of the Arrow Storms
    • Fixed an issue where Stormbane's Wrath could teleport to the player during its cast in a Nightmare Dungeon, instantly killing the player.

    User Interface and User Experience

    • Fixed an issue where the Tempered title was used for 2 different title rewards. A new title, Frenzied, has been added as the reward for completing Tier 59 of the Battle Pass.
    • Fixed an issue where the bottom of the Journal could not be interacted with if too many quests were active at the same time.
    • Fixed an issue where the Exceptional Gloves appearance got renamed to Superior Gloves.
    • Fixed an issue where the toggle for comparing stats would reset after logging out.
    • Fixed an issue where interacting with the Pit Obelisk also opened the inventory.
    • Fixed an issue where the icon for an available potion upgrade was only visible when near an Alchemist.
    • Fixed an issue where the Gauntlet Score screen could malfunction if you scored lower and didn't rank up.
    • Fixed an issue where the Barbarian's Weapon Expertise icons were all using the same image.
    • Fixed an issue where score updates on the Leaderboard could take longer than intended.
    • Fixed an issue where when completing a Gauntlet dungeon, only the achieved rank would be displayed and would not include an earned Seal.

    Miscellaneous

    • Fixed an issue where the impact sound effects for Hellborne Disciple meteors while fighting the Blood Maiden were louder than intended.
    • Fixed an issue where multi-colored lights would display in front of a Druid's head when transforming.(Ack! One too many forest mushrooms.)
    • Fixed an issue where audio could stop playing for a variety reasons.
    • Fixed an issue where Interactable objects in Helltide could disappear and then reappear after Helltide ended.

    HOTFIX 2 - August 9, 2024 - 1.5.0

    BUG FIXES

    • Fixed an issue where the Jewelry was more weighted in drops compared to other items.
    • Fixed an issue where Abyssal Scrolls would disappear from the Player’s inventory when leaving an Infernal Hordes instance.
    • Various stability fixes.


    HOTFIX 1 - August 8, 2024 - 1.5.0

    BUG FIXES

    • Fixed an issue where Tempering certain Greater Affixes could lead to unlimited re-rolls.
    • Fixed an issue where an extremely large amount of experience could be earned when a totem from the Umbracrux was present when completing certain boss encounters.

    Developer Note: With the above change, we have re-enabled the Unique Power for the Umbracrux.


    • Fixed an issue where Season Journey chapter completion caches opened by Sorcerers could contain Rogue-exclusive items.
    • Fixed an issue where the Malignant Altar for Varshan didn’t always disappear when Varshan spawned, which would prevent successive summons of Varshan.
    • Various stability improvements.

  • HOTFIX 3 - August 13, 2024 - 1.5.0

    BUG FIXES

    • Fixed an issue where sources of items with Guaranteed Greater affixes, such as the Reputation reward or Greater Equipment Chest, did not actually guarantee an item with Greater Affixes.
    • Fixed an issue where 1-Handed Maces acquired from the Purveyor of Curiosities were always Legendary quality.
    • Fixed an issue where Tier 4 Infernal Compasses dropped outside of Infernal Hordes did not have appropriate affixes.
    • Fixed an issue where Runeshards weren’t dropping in Nightmare Dungeons.

  • HOTFIX 4 - August 15, 2024 - 1.5.0

    GAME UPDATES


    • Aspect of Splintering EnergyDamage increased from 25-50% to 50-80%.
      • Splintering Energy will arc to additional enemies less frequently.

    *NOTE: Tooltip descriptors for this will be changed in a upcoming update.

    Developer Note: In rare instances, this aspect alongside Fractured Winterglass could cause detrimental server performance issues. To solve for this, we’re reducing the frequency of it arcing to additional enemies, and increasing its damage to compensate. Additionally, the amount of Frozen Orbs that can be launched from Conjurations while using Fractured Winterglass has been adjusted in these rare instances.


    Bug Fixes


    • Fixed an issue where Damage over Time effects could persist after the player died and revived.
    • Various stability improvements.
      Developer Note: The team is continuing our investigations around issues and player reports tied to trading. For now, trade will continue to be disabled and we will follow-up with updates. Thank you all for your patience.

  • HOTFIX 2 - August 29, 2024 - 1.5.1

    Bug Fixes

    • Fixed an issue where items could disappear during Avarice encounters while March of the Goblins was active.
      • The following changes have been implemented for Treasure Goblin drops to reduce the amount of loot dropped to avoid this issue.
      • Rare and Magic items will no longer drop in World Tiers III and IV.
      • This includes the 50/50 chance to get 1 Legendary or 2 Rares. It’s now a 50% chance to get a Legendary.
      • Gold and boss summoning material drops consolidated into less piles. Total items dropped remains unchanged.
      • Crafting material drop chance reduced, but amount of materials in each drop has been increased. Additionally, piles have been consolidated.
      • Elixirs will no longer drop.
      • These changes affect all treasure goblins, not just March of The Goblins spawns.
    • Various performance and stability improvements.

    Game Updates

    Infernal Hordes

    • Your Mounts and Pets will now be displayed on the loading screen.
    • The chests in Hellbreach Dungeons now has a channel to avoid accidentally clicking the chest.
    • The Frenzied and Mindcage titles will be granted to every player upon their first monster kill after Patch 1.5.2 goes live. This is to remedy issues with acquiring the title in Season of Loot Reborn.
    • The Season Journey task to defeat Helltide Commanders has been reduced from 20 to 5.

    Bug Fixes

    • User Experience and User Interface
    • Fixed an issue where the Threat Level for Helltide would briefly reset reset when hitting a higher Threat Level.
    • Fixed an issue where the 5 minute warning for Helltide didn't appear.
    • Fixed an issue where the entrance to the Infernal Hordes referred to Infernal Compass Affixes as Dungeon Affixes.
    • Fixed an issue where the Enchanting values preview would be inaccurate when enchanting a Masterworked item.
    • Fixed an issue where Inventory sorting was inconsistent in some cases.
    • Fixed an issue where the pips indicating Masterworking progress on an item did not display in the Masterworking preview window.
    • Fixed an issue where saved Ensembles in the Wardrobe could malfunction when swapping between Ensembles with an Off-Hand and a Two-Handed weapon equipped.
    • Fixed an issue where the mini-boss Aether Fiends were named Aether Lords.
    • Fixed an issue where intersecting paths between party members could become difficult to see.


    Quests and Dungeons

    • Fixed an issue where the reinforced door during the Of Lambs and Wolves quest could not be opened.
    • Fixed an issue where Istel did not appear inside the dungeon if the player entered before dialogue was finished during the Seething Mountain quest.
    • Fixed an issue where Pangs of Duriel wouldn't disappear if a player died while they were spawning, which could block progression.

    Gameplay

    • Fixed an issue where higher ranks of Hydra did not have the blue flame effect.
    • Fixed an issue where other players didn't properly see the visual effects of Frost Nova.
    • Fixed an issue where Shadow Clones with the Imitated Imbuement aspect equipped did not cast Basic Imbued skills when using the Coldclip aspect.
    • Fixed an issue where Poison Trap's damage over time could sometimes fail to trigger.
    • Fixed an issue where killing the Blood Maiden after a Helltide ended would reward cinders that could be carried over to the next Helltide.
    • Fixed an issue where Attack Speed would decrease during certain scenarios in Local Co-op.
    • Fixed an issue where casting animations could play twice for the other player in Local Co-op.
    • Fixed an issue where Two-Handed Axes acquired through the Purveyor of Curiosities would always be Legendary.
    • Fixed an issue where Unique items could not be acquired from the Purveyor of Curiosities.
    • Fixed an issue where the Stealth affix granted by Blood Howl to Waxing Gibbous could not be upgraded through Masterworking.
    • Fixed an issue where opening the Spoils of Gold chest in Infernal Hordes with high amounts of Aether could cause instability.
